I am trained in Humanistic Integrative Counselling. The core assumption of this form of therapy is that the capacity for mental well-being is accelerated when individuals are provided with a safe environment where they are able to develop self-acceptance and reflect on their emotions, attitudes, values and beliefs.
Humanistic integrative therapy uses a number of different theories (I primarily use person-centred, gestalt and transactional analysis) to tailor an approach that will help you with the difficulties you are experiencing.
Whatever your life-story is, my aim is to provide a warm and non-judgmental space for you to unpack your difficulties. We work together to untangle knots and depending on what your main issues is, we generally work to enable you to feel more closely connected to the part of yourself that is strong, wise and true.
